Adam Jevne, B.Tech, ISP, ITCP, Managing Partner
As Managing Partner of Balance Media, Adam oversees all aspects of Balance's web-based projects, from opportunity assessment through to implementation and service management. He is a recognized leader with a proven track record in the information technology and digital media sectors. He has served on the boards of many industry associations including: the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) of Alberta and the Digital Media Association of Alberta. Seen as a source of expertise, Adam has delivered talks at a number of industry workshops, panel discussions and learning opportunities. Topics range from Digital Media 101, Interactive Games and Social Networks, Inside the Production Pipeline to the intricacies of Building Web Applications.
An honours graduate with an Information Systems Technology degree, Adam has developed a strong background in a multitude of technologies and project management techniques. Projects under his direction have been publicly recognized through several awards including a Canadian Information Productivity Award for Organizational Transformation and an Alberta Venture eAward for Team Performance. Adam's career has seen him work with organizations such as Stantec Inc., Mr. Lube Canada, the Landtran Group of Companies, Government of Alberta, the Canadian Road Builders Group and Praxair Canada.
Andrea Bell, BA, Dip. PR, Projects Director
Andrea is an entrepreneur, advisor and innovator. A trained communicator with a digital bent, she advises companies on how to successfully integrate online media into their communications plans and activities. Her varied background and experience has enabled her to work successfully on cross-media marketing and communications campaigns blending web, social media and traditional marketing.
Andrea is partner in Balance Media, a digital media agency that has been helping companies be more visible and effective online for 11 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction, supplemented with a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, and 10 years of experience planning and managing digital media projects including websites, online community and social media strategies, intranets, knowledge centres and e-commerce sites.
