Austin’s all a Twitter

Andrea is in Austin, TX promoting Alberta’s digital media capabilities and hanging out with thought-leaders from the industry.

To stay in touch with people on the trip she’s using the popular micro-blogging tool Twitter. The PepsiCo SXSW Zeitgeist (see image below) is an online tweet visualizer of realtime user activity at the SXSW Interactive conference. Check it out online, it’s pretty sweet.

I gotta admit… I am wondering how much work is actually getting done with 57% of tweets mentioning the word ‘party’? Well, it’s all about the networking. Hopefully she’ll come home with some great contacts and maybe even some good stories.
