#Inspiration, #Innovation & #Intoxication

Well, it has been another incredible South by Southwest (SXSW). Austin, I love you. Without exception, I always return home excited about all that we are going to accomplish this year. We will continue to build on our mobile development services, we will introduce a few more capabilities on the integrated marketing side (including the socializing of your projects to your clients) and finally, I’m really looking forward to the development of our new software service, Truckstr.
It was a crazy week and I’d love to share more with anyone that’s interested in listening. Contact me directly if you’re hungry for more. Here’s a few of the sessions that I was involved in:
- Marketing Budgets Have Gone Social – Is it Working?
- App, Schmapp, Tell Me What Works Across Platforms!
- Shine Light on Others to Build Your Brand
- Diversity in the Digital Age
- Collaboration Nation: How Side-Projects Can Keep You Relevant
- One Story, Many Angles. The Multi-Platform Pitch
- Getting Your Breakthrough Idea Approved by Decision Makers
- Congratulations! Your Brand is About to Become Obsolete
- Influencers Will Inherit the Earth. Quick, Market Them
- Future of Collective Intelligence: Location! Location! Location!
- How to Personalize Without Being Creepy
- I’m so Productive, I Never Get Anything Done
- Interactive Narratives: Creating the Future of Storytelling
- The Last of the Launch-and-Leave ‘Ems
- Long After the Thrill: Sustaining Passionate Users
- Branded Entertainment: Do Brands Hurt Good Storytelling?
- Rebranding: Tales of a New Identity
Anyways, thanks for letting me take the time to attend. I’m a true believer in sharpening the saw, but often don’t make the time. It’s a good habit to work on and one week at SXSW is a great way to catchup.
Alright, it’s time to get back to work. Let’s talk soon.

Speaking Gig: Build Your Business Socially

Andrea, Balance’s Projects Director, has been asked to speak at the International Coach Federation (Edmonton Chapter) November networking luncheon. The topic? Using the web to build your business socially.
Companies and personal brands are nurturing relationships, and gaining clients, influence and respect using online tools such as websites, email campaigns, Facebook and Twitter. Andrea will talk about ways that entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes can communicate with authenticity, and make real connections with their audiences through the web.
